    FSX keeps freezing

    Ok so I just updated my pc to Win7 64bit and ever sence then I have been having issues. Every single time I try to do a flight my sim crashes. When I am on the ground it is fine but as soon as I take off about 20 min into the flight it freezes. Never had this issue with vista. Here are my logs. Can someone please help me out.

    You probably let Windows 7 Download/Install your drivers. That's a bad idea. Manually download/install all your drivers from the manufacturers website.

    Windows 7 is a hell of a lot better than Vista.

    Ok so I think I may have found a solution. I did some searching and came across a forum and tried a fix that they suggested and it seems to have worked for me. Just completed two with no issues, perfect flights. What I did was first updated my directx and updated my audio drivers. Then I went to this website and followed the directions. You upload your FSX.cfg file to them and they tweek it for you. You get a auto response back in seconds with a new cfg file. It seems to have fixed my issues.

    Good thing it's resolved. I checked out that site you wrote about, and I thought it was people who were going to tweak it manually. But that's just stupid of me, hah

    Interesting... usually when i hear about FSX breaking or not performing well its due to bad coding of hte simulator
