Can't get anything more than 10 FPS :( <-- Noob needs help

After playing around with settings for days, trying updating drivers and running different "mods" that are supposed to help, I'm so stuck,

As far as I am aware my specs should be fine to play with a reasonable amount of fps.

I'm guessing you can't play Skyrim.

Your PC can handle the game, so it might be the game itself that is lagging.

Luckily, a patch was just released for the game to fix lag issues. (Thanks Ben!)

Nope, that Update changed nothing, even with everything set to lowest, It takes about 5-10seconds for a weapon swing, seriously unplayable :S

It's your graphic card, I suggest you upgrade it. It won't handle Skyrim. What's your PSU? Assuming 500W?

570 is like 30x powerful, just giving you a clue. What's your budget BTW?

i have a few reccomendations
1. game booster -usefull in 90% of aspects in relating to skyrim and i use it all the time
2. advanced system care - there could be some problems like bugs in your registry or something like that causing these problems, there has been known as similar things in the previous past where their have been bugs or virus's or just generic problems in your registry and your computer which take up tremendous amounts of resource, i have known a similar case like this with GTA IV, until i tweaked the settings a lil with notepad and ran a few scans, not sure how about TES tho, but feel free to try it

3. make sure you put it to min, thats everything, view distances, and especially anti aliasising and ansiotropic etc and FXAA their the bane of all pc gaming laggyness to me, and if that works better, then work your way up from their, try to contact bethseda ( or how u spell it) they should shed light on it, or google search engine, your case cant be the only one

Hoped i was of assistance, your case is odd, your pc surpasses mine in every aspect which seems curious, but it could just be what ive said, if not then most likely the graphic card as some people have already said. just update your drivers if you havent already done, DONT ALWAYS TRUST YOUR OS to take care of that , i might be able to help you with it if your a lil unsure about that and if your unsure about the correlation to mine, i would be more than happy to post a video of my gameplay and post my specs so that meant that if i can run it at a good fps then you cud run it at amazing, but thats depending on whether the problem is accumulated to be what it is, atm it seems puzzling

P.S you could try compatibility settings, not sure why but windows 7 sucks in comparison to XP with running games and there have been cases that i have read where it works more fluent in that sort of compatiblity setting

True, but there is integrated graphics card that benchmark better than that. Upgrading is a better option IMHO. Updating and software can do so much for a computer. Any decent computer only needs CCleaner.

Yea Lous55 has a good point i think, the graphics card is quite important there, like some games i have i exceed the requriements but my card does not go that well so i do feature some problems similar

when you first click on skryim icon do not click on play go to options and to settings put anti aliasing and anisotropic filtering to off recomended and it will let your grafix card take over

Also I suggest going to your device manager and under display adapters select your grafix card right click to properties then select driver then update very helpful. : )
